Although 2011 has come to a close, two events that occurred in the Chinese military last year, have not come to an end. One is when China test-sailed its first aircraft carrier on August 10, 2011 and the other is when a deserter escaped from a Chinese army unit in Jilin Province.

In 2012, China’s aircraft carrier issue will not only continue, it is likely to be highly publicized in an effort to deter neighboring Asian countries in the South China Sea. News of the deserter’s military trial is expected to be kept to a minimum, as a public trial is apt to expose China’s military secrets.

China’s naval technology is lagging behind the United States

Apparently, the internet  war between China and the United States is even. However, China’s naval technology is lagging behind the United States, by two decades. Recently the U.S. toughened its stance on China saying that it would “use cruise missiles to strike locations in China where cyber-attacks are being launched and directed at the United States.” This tough stance has forced the Chinese military decision-makers to make some significant adjustments.

Psychological warfare

The U.S. military released satellite photos of China’s first aircraft carrier, so that Chinese netizens are aware that China's military activities are under constant surveillance by the United States.

"People with even the slightest bit of military knowledge know that what the United States did amounts to psychological warfare. Those of us in the military,  know that in the event of a real war or protracted battle, we are no stronger than Iraq," confessed a Chinese naval officer, who wished to remain unknown.

Widespread corruption in the military breeds dissatisfaction

Corruption in the military can be found in construction camps, weapons procurement facilities, and even in job promotion situations. Actually, the Chinese military is more corrupt than regular society. Dissatisfaction in the army is widespread, even among lower ranking personnel. Discipline and education in the army are just formalities and lacks real content. The only thing that officers concern themselves with is money!

Comments:

Out of sight: the heart is still troubled: China’s army is primarily used for suppressing common people and has little or nothing to do with actual war.

( Kanzhongguo netizens): “I always wanted to know if any other country besides China groomed their major generals, just so they could sing songs.”

Die Die: Awesome comment, really cool.

WQ: Nobody wants to dedicate their lives to the corrupt Chinese communist Party’s (CCP) bandit-like regime, whose officials go dining, drinking alcohol, whoring, gambling, and destroying people’s lives, who would like to sacrifice their lives for those corrupte official.Who will be so  stupid to serve officials as well as  their sons and daughters to harm people.  .

R: Every day, Chinese generals have illicit sexual relationships with female soldiers who are working in the performance troops for army. and soldiers often engage in war , like shooting at uninhabited islands. But, if a war were to really break out, soldiers would flee as fast as they could.  By that time, we will see who will have a better means of transportation, and who will  escape even faster!

Big Difference: "China’s naval technology has lagged behind the United States by two decades.” only a 20-year difference!you give too much credit to Chinese! Keep your boasting , keep braging!

2012 The immoral will be annihilated by Heaven: Large-scale retribution will soon occur.

LXH: If a war were to break out, the CCP would fall.

Dawdling: Civil and military officials team up to embezzle money.

Nanshan Taoist: “When one purports to support the CCP, the only thing they are supporting is the regime’s lies and falsehoods. The CCP’s army consists of the world's most corrupt, bandit-like soldiers. They’re even inferior to the Vietnamese army. They don’t dare to fight and can only manage to their humble existence. If China were to stop importing energy resources , there would be  unrest, land grabs, and civil war and uprising everywhere. Every document that the CCP sold to the people ( e.g land lease or commercial contract )would become scraps of paper; officials would escape abroad with as much money they could take with them; local governments would be scattered, and the banditry would worsen, throwing the whole country into chaos.
