Useful Tips for Toothpaste

We are going to share some unusual tips and tricks for this ordinary household item.

1. Remove coffee or tea stains

 Rub the inside of mugs briskly with some toothpaste, then wash or rinse as usual. Your mugs should be clean and shiny immediately.  And toothpaste is a cleaner for all types of stainless steel in your kitchen.   Also, it can remove soap scum, hard water stains ,  and  the dirt on the surface of the oven.    

Toothpastes contain a mild abrasive, which is just what you need to scrub the "gunk" off the plate of your iron. Apply it to your iron while it’s cool and scrub with a rag, then rinse well.

2. Eliminate odors

The delicious dinner is ready, but the smelly food scents like fish, onion and garlic  stay on your hands?  Rub hands and fingernails with toothpaste to remove smell.  

3. Spruce up dirty shoes

Brush surface dirt from shoe, apply some toothpaste over the entire  leather shoes and rub with a clean dry cloth.   It could also remove the dirt off leather bags. 

4. Remove the scratches of the watch

Apple some toothpaste on the scratches of the watch, gently rub it with a soft cloth, the scratches will disappear.

5. The   safe cleaning agent for Fruit

Apply some toothpaste on the fruit's skin, wash, rinse and wipe dry. It could remove the preservative on the fruit.

6. First aid to help prevent infection from burns

If burnt from hot oil, or hot water, toothpaste could help relieve pain and prevent infection.  Even you have toothache, if you put some toothpaste on the pain teeth, it will reduce the pain .

7. Relieve bug bites

Apply a dollop to insect stings and skin irritations that cause itching. Also, can help dry wounds and help to aid healing. 

8. Relieve motion sickness

Toothpaste contains mint and clove oil which could relieve headache and sea sickness. Apply a bean size dollop of toothpaste to your fingertips and message on the temple.
